I was discussing with a friend about how could Saitama be killed. It's true he's basically a god in his universe, but that's more because of his incomparable abilities and power. But the fact of the matter is that the man is still a human. I'm not saying he can die from bullets or his skull breaking open, but others things that aren't as physical as we expect.

I'm thinking the man can die if he's submit to constant radiation, giving cancer or leukemia. If there's ever a way he get cuts, he could suffer from an infection. Microscopic things he has no control of or definite ways to avoid. He can possibly be subject to psychological torture from a telepath or watching Boku no Pico for eternity. Shit, maybe poison soaked through his skin.

It's speculation, but none of the monster we've seen so far have had poison or telepathy, and I feel like One is glossing over them because he knows those things can kill him.

Saitama has shown near immunity to telekinetics so far. And he's probably the strongest-by-will character in the entire series, so I don't see telepathy doing much of anything to him.

Also his apparent immunity to physical damage most likely carries over to poison as well. Poisons are in the physical realm, too. Same with bacteria.

Basically it seems like he needs an opponent as strong as himself or with reality-warping hax

If Boros kicked him into outer-space and missed the moon, he'd suffocate and die as long as he doesn't bump into anything he could use for footing.

    Saitama is overrated.
Crappy master Roshi from Dragonball who vaporized the moon will waste Saitama.

You can kill Saitama by showing him all the bargain deals he missed during his training and hero missions, then finish off with the free samples he has missed

Even if he was launched to outer space, he could propel himself back by throwing a piece of clothing.

Unless you get him naked first. A nice warm bath is the key to killing Saitama :hm

You mean throwing a piece of clothing as hard as he can in the opposite direction so the recoil effect propels him back? :hm

That's Newton's 3rd law, baby :pimp Rockets work the same way by basically having a continous explosion that shoots fuel in the opposite direction you want to go.

I just couldn't remember the term . :hm

Even if he's naked, he can get back by kicking air like 8 Gates Gai.

Or would that not work due to him being i. space? :hm

Space is practically a vacuum. Get's less dense the further away from earth you get. Kicking won't do him any good.

Get some nice warm water in the tub, fill it with bubbles and put on some relaxing music, and Saitama is as good as dead :noworries

Sure if this was an OBD thread. Roshi isn't in OPM though. And the whole point of his fight against Boros was to prove that he could literally never be beaten or even feel threatened enough to have a real fight by any other character in his own series. The whole message of that was that the strongest person in the universe couldn't possibly fight Saitama. If anyone does it will mean the end of the series.

In terms of killing him though, Saitama is in a couple of ways just a regular human. He might be able to blow up a mountain but he doesn't weigh as much so he could probably easily thrown into space by a strong enough uppercut like he was against Boros. Or he could be poisoned or maybe persuaded to punch his own head off. Someone could show up and destroy all the edible stuff or water on earth while he was distracted and then just leave.

There's basically nothing that could decapitate Saitama, and even if he were drugged through food or inhaling a gas and Saitama's body only worked at 1% it would probably still work well enough to massively overpower anyone in his verse. Nothing would vaporise him because his body is just too tough. He'd probably ignore a vaporising attack with an explanation like "not using air conditioning or heat made him immune" or "the atoms making up his body are too powerfully bonded". The issue with killing Saitama is that nothing in his own verse would work on him directly.

What if someone ages him really quickly? I think that could work as long as they don't immediately come off as evil

Regardless of how tough he is he still has bodily functions that rely on hemical functions. Plenty of chemicals can cause that to cease

It's been pretty evident that his body is not that of a simple human - unless ONE somehow wrote a whole biological description of his body your point is moot.

Can you explain how it's different? Saitama is durable, but poisoning him could probably weaken him.

Poisons are still in the physical realm. If his cells are also superhuman(supercellular) than there is nothing poison could do to harm them.
