Spice and Wolf Author: Isuna Hasekura Illustrator: Jū Ayakura X Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Thriller, Drama. Baka-Tsuki was working on it for awhile. However, it was halted since it has been licensed in the US. Well, you can read until Volume Four X. There're no pictures though. It was translated by Baka-Tsuki and abandoned. There's also an X and manga for it. X link for the anime. Light Novels are rarely reviewed. It's more or less the same thing though, the filler for the anime isn't that bad either. Although the anime skipped a volume for Wolf and Spice. Spoiler: My take on Ōkami to Kōshinryō It's pretty interesting. The novel/anime/manga focuses more on the relationship between the two main characters, Horo and Lawrence. Don't expect much action, drama or whatever. It's a 'Love it or Hate it' kind of story. Well, there's economics, trading and a wolf-girl. I don't see what's there to hate . Well, the pacing does get much slower later in the anime/light novel. But it's starting to pick up. Baka-Tsuki's translations is good, but it doesn't really seem smooth reading the novel. Some parts don't really seem right to explain using baka-tsuki's translation. I'd recommend you to buy the Light Novel's X tbh. Well, I wouldn't know. But since it's official, it'll probably be better I guess. I believe the Light Novel is ending soon.
