The horrible art probably puts people off.

Anime Jonathan is my favorite JoJo though.

Fair point. One would think people would list it higher after the anime aired though, but I guess this thread only counts the manga

Also, why does FT have a subsection, when JJBA does not? There's so fucking much to discuss.

Phantom Blood is fun because of its 80's corniness and exaggerated muscles.

Because Fairy Tale has ecchi tits and JJBA doesn't.

    JJBA is intelligent. FT isn't.

    JJBA is creative. FT isn't.

That's why FT has a subsection and JJBA doesn't. :geg

Also, Polnareff and Silver Chariot solos the Titans...all of them. :gar

Honestly, the part 1 anime > the manga, even though there were some slight changes that irked me.

I like reading part 1, I really did, but the anime REALLY hammered it in how much of a gentlemen Johnathan was.

I preferred the manga's fights to the anime's, but man the atmosphere in episode 2 was just ace

Could be said for the anime in general though, but that episode really sticks out to me

Have you seen this already? It's a list of Araki's top 10 favorite JJBA characters (apparently made in 2000, so it's not exactly new).

Lol at Fatty being on the list.

I'm going to write my Polnareff/Attack on Titan crossover now to remove that awful thought. :pek

    Lol Fatty blowded up. :LOS

Actually I knew Josuke was his favorite character. What's even funnier is that Rohan is supposedly his self-insert but Rohan also despises Josuke with a passion. :LOS

Its protagonist and antagonist just flat out sucked :maybe

Normally I wouldn't care about what someone likes best, but it sticks out with Giorno and Diavolo because...what is there to like

ok if they made it on the list due to their designs I guess that makes
    some sort of sense

ngl I do like Diavolo's design quite a bit. It's weird, but cool imo

Bro, I love Mista. He's the shit.

I just don't care for Giorno or Diavolo. Also I don't even like Diavolo's design, so personally he doesn't even have that going for him.

Diavolo looks neat to me but kind of odd for a Mafia Boss
Although he does have the excuse of "I took my shirt off"

Interesting choice of undershirt in that case :lmao

My problem with part 5 is that it drags for way too long and for the most part it's just more of the same.

Diavalo is certainly not my favorite villain but at least I'll admit his 2nd personality/body was an interesting trait.

Giorno I guess bores a lot of people but I love his tactical mind and powers and I mostly just associate him with the awesome battles of part 5.

I think the fact that I started reading this series before it blew up gives me a different perspective than some people. For example I found the introduction if stands in part 3 to be really jarring and actually stopped reading for months when I found it out there was a 2nd group of assassins because it was dragging so much for me. By the time I got to part 5 I had fully embraced it rather than being burnt out on it like a lot of people seem to imply.

Felt the same way actually, despite having got into the series because of them
I had no idea the Ripple would be as fun as it was

Though I think it's also in part due to Part 3 having a very rough start since it was the first time the villain of the week scenario was used. It improved later on of course, but early fights were just...weird imo

Imagine how weird it was for me, not even being aware of stands really and just picking it up since I read a boss in Castlevania was inspired by Dio(I was really confused when he didn't stop time in part 1). I read part 1 thinking it was gonna be like FotNS meets Castlevania or some shit.

What made it worse were stands like the living car or the freaking Orangutan boat. They were just weird concepts probably due to Araki not being totally comfortable with stands yet either. By the time part 5 rolled around though there were brilliant tag teams along the lines of Hol Horse/Hanged Man all the time.
