Well heres a fight we would have been glad to see if it was shown complelty. Anyways now that we know what Kakuzu and Hidan can do at there best who do you guys think was fighting the Nibi the most and defeated it. Well heres the pros of Hidan. Hidan with his vodo jutsu could have taken blood from the Nibi and injurded himself in a way to knock Yugito out but would that really world on a Bijuu? Kakuzu jutsus are powerful and im sure with his strong strenth and destructive S rank elemental jutsus he could take down the Nibi easier. Both Kakuzu and Hidan didnt really have a scarch on em after they showed the end of the battle however we do know Hidan used his Vodo jutsu since he was on the ground doing that prayer thing. So its really hard to know he truly beat he Nibi. What are your opinons?

I'm pretty sure Hidan did almost all the work. He's the one that complained about having to leave her alive, he ended up with a stick in his stomach so we know he did stuff; Sasori said it's one capture per person. Kakuzu probably just defended himself.

I'll bet it was similar to when they fought Kakashi.

Hidan charges at Yugito and then Kakuzu blasts them both with an elemental attack.

If the elemental attack doesn't draw blood, Hidan will.

That's what they meant when they said X

But as we have seen in the Asuma fight, they don't always do the usual. Hidan would gladly solo the enemy if he sees a reason to, and official Akatsuki orders (if there are any) might just be a good enough reason.

i think hidan did most of the work. and as for the one per person, we've seen how much stock that holds when Deidera went up against Naruto and Kakashi.

I would say that a calm Kakuzu cares a bit more about the rules than Deidara who just loves to show off.

Hidan and Kakuzu fight 2 ways:

1.) Kakuzu backs up Hidan, who goes in to try and curse the opponent. When that happens it ends in automatic victory.

2.) Kakuzu is the primary fighter, deploying his Masks and Hidan backs them up with their formation techniques.

I assume method 1 is used more commonly as it's quicker, easier, and it was used in both the Nibi and Chikuru fights. In any regard, Hidan did most of the work in the pair up until the fight with Team Shikamaru/Kakashi.

Since it was Hidan's target Jinchurikki he must have done most of the work.
