SH's succeed in stopping Noah. Caribou makes his move facepalm) VDD wakes up.
fishman island arc ends
Luffy smashes Noah to bits, albeit still rather large chunks. The boys below clean up the Future Pirate Kings leftovers.
Something about the fate of Fishman Island that nobody cares about.
For fuck sake bring out Caribou and the sea kings already.
Kuma appears and sends them to the New World.
Luffy destroy's Noah.
Caribou does something...finally.
Caribou wont show up till after they get to the new world..
We see Luffy still attacking Noah like crazy, he's destroyed a good chunk but there's a lot left. Jimbei & Zoro grab on to Sanji who takes them up there and they finish it off together. Hody wakes up and screams but can't move, then he gets ten axes in the skull and dies. Decken starts yelling about revenge or something, then he sees LZSJ staring at him and shuts up. They make him touch some random stuff with his hands so he can't keep coming after Shirahoshi then knock him out. Fish- and merfolk rejoice across the island. Final shot is of Caribou sneaking into the Plaza.
I PREDICT SEA KINGS.
Any ideas on who the stronger people on fishman island are? I seem to remember someone say that there was much stronger people on the island than hodi, and as of right now im thinking we need more things to happen in this arc for the island to have a reason to be destroyed.
Apparently, the preview of Sh?nen Jump #51 mentions that the chapter 647 will put an end to this arc:
There are too many unresolved elements to end this arc this week (The fate of Noah and Fishman Island, Joy Boy and the Poneglyph, the Fishman Karate Dojo, the connection between the Sunlight Tree Eve and the Treasure Tree Adam evoked by Usopp, Aladin and the rest of the Jinbe's faction, the Big Mam's candy factory, Reverie and the migration plan of King Neptune, the problem of the conventional Log Pose which doesn't work in the New World, the revenge of Decken by his "left hand" locking of Hody, the role of Sea Kings in this arc, the prophecy about Shirahoshi, Caribou, the mermaids captured by him and his plans for the princess, the origin of the ES pills and many more...). It sounds like a double arc like Water Seven/Enies Lobby, IMO.
With the whole "theres stronger people than hodi on the island" and the fact that luffy's saving FI instead of destroying it its most likely a double arc.
Caribou FINALLY shows up
Gomu Gomu no Elephant gun.
Fishmen Island Arc.
"New" Fishmen Island Arc
Caribou joins the Strawhats.
Even if Noah is destroyed/stopped the arc isn't ending in one chap. Maybe it meant the problem will be resolved next chapter. The meeting at Marejois will probably be part of the next arc. I imagine we will see a resolution to Carbou and the log pose before they leave FI.
Fishman Island Z ....as in Fishman Island Zoro continues to own people? xD
No, this won't be a double arc. Next chapter will wrap things up for the most part.
MARIEJOA ARC INCOMING BITCHES.
That scan didn't say the arc is ending it says the arc reaches a climax. The climax is not the end of the story, it is usually somewhere after the middle but before the end. The climax just means we will finally finish off Noah/Hody. After the climax comes the resolution where we will probably get a wrap up related to the undiscussed issues and a foreshadowing of the next arc/future events. Before this arc officially ends I imagine there are going to be 5-10 more chapters atleast.
I'd like this
What Mariejois arc?
Are you guys fucking idiots?
I don't want a Mariejois arc, i might be a sub arc to show some issues, and Vivi. Though I don't want the SH's to go.
I want to go to NW already dammit.
I swear, if there is a Mariejois arc I'm going to laugh so hard!
There is absolutely no reason to go there at all it's stupid.
No reason just yet, eventually a reason for reaching Marie Joa will show up. It will probably to deal with the gorousei though which will be much later on.
well yea eventually but not now
Oda wouldn't troll us with that crap, he's made it clear that we are heading for the New World.
I'm thinking either:
Caribou shows up and fucks something up
Hodi gets up just to get sliced down by Decken
Or there's a massive troll and some character we thought was insignificant before reveals himself to be the real big bad of the arc.
Well spoilers are out...now if someone would translate them
Shirahoshi finnally does something useful for once, but still kid of lame that Luffy didn't stop Noa with the help of the sh's.
This arc is over, Noah is the final challenge.
Caribou will be either an after though related to the happy ending of this arc or will be a link to the next arc (Caribou and his mermaid harem cover stories?).
I wanted Luffy to stop Noah by himself.
So Shirahoshi activates her powers. Not surprising.
Lol Luffy fail and now even seakings think luffy is amazing? this is approaching Naruto level of Jesusness.
More from T:
T's 3rd post: "I think Luffy must have been the only one who heard the voice. He heard the Sea Kings' voice. So he does have the voice of all things."
"Fishman Island Arc seems to be coming to a close. I'm glad to have seen the debut of the crew's training here."
"Luffy's wound opened and he went unconscious."
So that wound Hody gave him was indeed serious? lol
And Luffy take sone step closer to being a Roger clone but with more Jesus in him.
Bleeding out does that to you.
And what's with the Jesus crap? If you want that go read naruto.
I'm saying that because it reminded me of Naruto (that I read...if I find the spoiler interesting...which it is maybe 1 out of 10 times)
With Luffy heraing all this shit now we can say bye bye to Robin...what dat bitch is good for now
It's probably just a speculation on T's part, lets wait and see.
The one interesting thing about it is Luffy managed to hear those voices just as he was about to pass out...same like Zoro when he was on the brink of death in Arabasta.
^ Zoro felt the "Breath of all things" the "Voice of all things" is likely something else entirely.
So Luffy couldn't destroy Noah and passed out from fatigue/blood loss. I like this turn of events. Luffy was almost starting to seem too powerful and unstoppable. It's nice to see that while he has grown exponentially he still has a long way to go.
The voice can be just a more advanced version.
I don't know about that. Defeating Hody and failing to stop Noah ain't taht great compared to his earlier accomplishments
Oh okay Oda, thanks for clarifying. Can you tell me who Joyboy is while you're at it?
You really mean to tell me you don't think Luffy has shown his obvious growth in just about every aspect of combat in his fight with Hody.
Notice the "can"? Pretty fucking obvious I'm speculating. Either of us can be right, or we can both be wrong. No way of telling for now.
He hasn't shown CoO
But yeah you're right that he showed a whole new range of his abbilities, but even so his fight with Hody was meh at best.
My bad, missed the "can" I apologize.
Sure he has.
I wouldn't really call it a fight. It was like Luffy vs. a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.
No prob brah
I know he showed it against the Pacifista, but when did he show it when facing Hody?
Finally, this arc is coming to an end.
