Hinata seemed to be the main girl on this episode. Hopefully we might have NH-ish moments and maybe Hinata's action as well.
It looks like that episode will serve to "fuel-up" the upcoming war arc in the anime by focusing on the Rookies and how they'll prepare themselves for it, that is what I understand from the preview.
As long as they do not contradict nothing that has been established as canon before then I won't worry. But I would like them to get started already with the Confinement Jinchuuriki arc.

Sounds like Hiashi is treating Hinata poorly again and having highs on Neji. I think thats why they are calling it Konoha's Girls only club with Hinata as the central of the episode.

Aww that preview makes Hiashi look like an A-hole . The way I read it though I see Hiashi talking to Neji promoting him to the postion of Hinata's bodyguard and if she is severely hurt/killed he will not be pleased. When Hiashi was talking to Hizashi in the war it looked like he had complete faith in both Hinata and Neji so I don't believe he doubts her but is secretly a concerned parent and who wouldn't be.

Nah, I doubt it has anything to do with relationships. The idea that there are these "standards" when it comes to relationships is fandom created. Kishimoto hasn't gone there at all and I seriously doubt that the anime will as it would cause more drama than necessary.
Uh... no. Neji outranks Hinata. Neji would be put in charge. Going on merit and not "blood" is actually a good thing. That shows change and trust (which goes along with the manga actually). It makes sense. It's not mean or being mistreated.

I was commenting on calling Hiashi an "a-hole" as well as Matrix' comment on Hiashi treating Hinata poorly. That's supposedly saying Hiashi is being mean or mistreating her in my book. It's fine if you think others might think that, but I'm going to comment on it as it was said because I think anyone who is making that comment (or similar ones) is being silly about it.
No, I was not referring to the rest of your comment--just the part I quoted.
Fact that the preview of said episode says Hinata is going to be part or head of a women group makes me think it'll be more of a humoristic ep instead of a serious one, which have lately been the trend of the current filler arc.

Oh yes, I remember very well dat fanfic.
Merellis has in his set the fanart that was made from the first scene of that fic by GiselleRocks.
I personally don't mind a humorous episode. Since the anime isn't canon anyway, they're for exactly what the intent is. Only diff is if you like their humor or not, which lately...they've been lacking the cleverness they started with. :| I'll watch it anyway.
