Making his debut in Chapter 284, a member of ANBU, who achieved the highest performance record under the Sandaime Hokage, was assigned as Team 7's temporary leader while Kakashi recuperated from the Rescue Gaara mission.
While his real name is Tenzou (テンゾウ), Tsunade assigned him a codename Yamato (ヤマト). With a calm and relaxed demeanor, Yamato is also a powerful shinobi who uses one of the most unique abilities in the entire manga. Shortly after his birth, Yamato was among numerous babies kidnapped by Orochimaru and used as lab experiments. Orochimaru injected the Shodai Hokage's DNA into each child with the hopes of eventually using the Shodai's unique abilities. Yamato was the sole survivor and is now the only known shinobi to use Mokuton (木遁) jutsus.
Mokuton is a unique ability that combines both Earth and Water elements to create wood. With mokuton, Yamato is capable of creating wood clones (木分身の術), Wood Locking Wall (木錠壁), and more for fun the Four Pillars House Technique (四柱家の術). However, one of the most important capabilities of the Mokuton is the Hokage-Shiki Jijuun Jutsu Kaku'an Nitten Suishu (火影式耳順術・廓庵入鄽垂手), a jutsu that is able to suppress the Kyuubi chakra.
Yeah, that's what I thought Moridin. No offense to Akasun or anything but there were a lot of people waiting until the RAW was out to create a FC for this guy (no wonder, because he's incredible lookin! ) and when the RAW came out, I scanned the first page and saw no Yamato FC, soooo, I decided to do it!
