Plot Summary: Due to a deep trauma at school Sakurada Jun has refused to return. He spends his time in his room, surfing the web and ordering anything that takes his fancy, only to return the items just before payment is due. One day, he finds a web site that tells him to put his order in a drawer of his desk. He does so thinking it to be a joke, only to find that the letter disappears and a strange package arrives soon afterwards. It contains an exquisite doll, that, when wound, comes to life. She treats him as a servant of little worth, but over time helps him come to grips with his fears and in the life-or-death fights that soon follow her arrival.
^I thought the same about the start as well. But I love the way the series goes and the characters are likable with cool situations. I don't really want to say much for fear of spoiling it, so definitely give it a try.
watch eps 1-62 and first ova. once the first ova ends switch to manga volumes and read greed island arc onward. the anime fucked up greed island bad animation and art wise. I mean togashi's chapters look better than the episodes.
It's excellent. It started out fine for me, loved the first few episodes.
It's one of the few animes where the fillers are actually so damn awesome you don't realize they're fillers. And the soundtrack is awesome, the themes really grow on you.
to the HXH fans out there, if you wanna feel nostalgic, listen to these:
The first theme is badass
The animation [especially in the york shin arc] was great. it's better to watch the anime then read the manga. that way you don't have to put up with Togashi's artwork at least until ant arc
