Uchiha's can call God's powers with their skills, but as even Itachi has mentioned, abilities like Mangekyou Sharingan, ruin their eyes, which means that if an Uchiha has strong techniques like that he'll finally lose it all when he/she loses his vision; considering that Itachi is gonna get killed by Sasuke (with a very small possibility being this the opposite), Tobi might get killed for being an akatsuki, that'll leave us with only Sasuke, the clan would take about too much time to "reappear" again (if it does "reappear"). They were able to create a genius, but i don't think that brought them too much happines didn't it? (talking 'bout Itachi).
(By the way, i'm not against Itachi he is a very cool character, his clan was too weak for him..)
