Mine is Pain. He may have tried to destroy the world but he did so to cause peace. He was bought up as an orphan, his friend killed, his home destroyed, and he still wants peace rather than revenge. He is also very philosophical and has some memorable quotes.
Of course Sasuke at first place..
I love this character from all of my heart..and that not going to change..
I fall in him when he protected Naruto from Haku's needles..yeah thats the real Sasuke..I know now he changed a lot..But I will keep my faith in him..(I know I become over..and you will say it is just a cartoon character..and I am crazy..but I love gim..and I want to say my feelings..)..
After him there is Madara..Itachi..Kakashi..Naruto..

Hatake Kakashi is going hands done my fav character. Ever since I saw his fight with Deidara early on in the Shippuden series, whilst Sakura and Elder Chiyo fight Sasori., hes been my fav. Although that was an uneventful fight, he's the only character with a Sharingan that I like, and his Mangekyou ability is amazing, and thats the first time you get to see it in the anime! I hate all the Uchihas sorry to any fans...They just suck. I'm fairly sure that he's the only character that has it all... Skill, techniques, sharingan, power, ability, laid back-ness... If thats a word... Not to mention the fact that he has killer jutsu.... Raikiri > Everything. I was gonna say chidori but that bastard Sasuke tainted that jutsu with his emoness.
Itachi brcause despite the painhe suffered throughtout the span of his short life in his last few moments he still loved sasuke and remained trueto the village. Plus his moves are some of the coolest out there and i love his philosphical outlook on life.
I'd have to pick Hatake Kakashi; he has a very interesting and difficult background/backstory, he is skilled, powerful and sly, but he is also protective and caring. Furthermore, the way he switches from lazy, laid-back perv to resolved, selfless fighter when the situation requires it is quite spectacular. His whole demeanor/expression just completely changes.
I also am very fond of: Hyuuga Neji and Hinata, Nara Shikamaru, Uzumaki Naruto, Tenzou Yamato, Mei Terumi, Sarutobi Hiruzen, Maito Gai and Rock Lee.

I also like Naruto because he never gives up and always fights to reach his goals.Plus, he's such a lovable goofball, very much like myself (well, that's what most people tell me ^^).
Other characters I like are Iruka (he's kind and caring and a teacher, and I'm a kind, caring teacher-in-training =D ), Tsunade ('cause she's boss), Jirayia (he's strong but down-to-earth), and Shikamaru, he's just so smart.
I have a lot of favourite characters, but my first choice would be Naruto. The main characters aren't usually my favourite, but I guess Naruto just has that magical effect. I found I liked him more and more as the story progressed.
i've pretty much decided on sakura because she's overcome alot and grown as a person more than many other characters. i dont care too much about seeing her fight because her being powerful is missing the point. she's a normal girl who had to work her way up from nothing.
and shes not a part of the whole sharingan madness and overpowered meteor shit.

Hatake Kakashi, I haven't really liked a great deal of other characters both Jiraiya and Itachi are great too, but Kakashi for me is the best character out of the series. I wish he would get a solid fight that he can just triumph out of.
I was stuck between Minato and Tsunade I chose Tsunade because I like her overall character more. She's cool, has awesome abilities, is the 5th Hokage, and is the greatest medical ninja. Go Tsunade!!
My all time favorite is Naruto. There's just something about him that makes you love him.
I feel like if you got to know Kushina better she could be my favorite, simply because she is so much like Naruto in that you fell in love with her so fast.
My second favorite would be Itachi...he's just amazing...
