Eccleston! Its good to see him again. I don't think I've seen him in anything since The Shadow Line.
Man, I really want to see him in Othello, though...

Loved Casino Royale, and was one of the few who liked Quantum of Solace despite it being a slapped together movie confirmed to have basically not had a script, given the amount of time since QoS it seems like they're really giving their all and putting time into this, which is always nice.
Eccleston as Malekith, yeah that works
Also random thought, the use of Swag as short for 'swagger' annoys me, Swag already has a definition. But I digress.

I also got Hellboy: Library Edition vol. 5 and Joe the Barbarian as HC.

So apparently Marvel is trying to trade a DD rights extension to Fox for rights to specific FF characters.
Can't do Annihilation without Galactus and SS
But I wanna know whose job it is to convince people that Galactus and SS (As part of a GoTG/Avengers movie?) are worth all of DD.
Unless Disney/Marvel just plans to buy it up later with Avengers 2 money.

lol I forgot about Vathlo island. So hilarious. But I'll be surprised if Multiversity isn't amazing, since it's basically going to be his goodbye to the DCU.

So continuing with this star trek thing. Saw TOS, TAS and the TOS movies last year and said 'why not' and started watching TNG on netflix.
I'm really digging this show, it's kind of amazing how it goes from 'mediocre' to 'meh' to 'good' to 'damn good' to 'amazing' in a consistently upward path. So many interesting concepts and episodes. Almost a shame I didn't watch this until now, I think I would have been even more enamored with this when I was younger.
Following this right now in alternating between DS9 and TNG now that I've gotten up to where they overlap. It works, I like how it comes off that Chain of Command directly leads to DS9 happening.

Haven;t really thought of it that way until now, makes sense that'd end up being last. Sure gonna miss the ol' Scot when it comes to these particular funnybooks.
That said

Neat. I never realized the series actually overlapped with each other. I just assumed that chronologically DS9 was very soon after TNG since they shared some characters. And that Voyager was some time after DS9.
Man, I miss Star Trek. I think I'll spin up some DS9 epsiodes over my coming weekend.

DS9 is my favorite ST series, its started out a bit slow but got so awesome later on. Voyager was alright but somehow it didnt have this 'why cant next weeks episode come sooner?' effect DS9 had for me.

DS9 is my favourite of the Star Trek series as well. I was madly in love with Gul Dukat and Sisko.

I so need to rewatch TNG and DS9. So hard to choose between the two though, TNG did have a bit of a rocky start. Cas is right that it just goes up and up and up.

I feel like Morrison is the kind of guy who wouldn't leave DC if he still felt he had interesting ideas for the characters. I mean it's not like DC wouldn't put him on ANYTHING he wanted to do. Given how long and wide reaching multiversity is going to be, I feel like he's not going to leave anything on the table.
For me, All Star Supes was like a wake up call. I had been so out of superman for so long that I started to feel a little cynical about him. Then I read the first 3 pages of All Star and by the time I'm at that doublespread everything I used to love about Superman was just rushing back to me.
I'm hoping multiversity has the same effect on me when it comes to the DCU in general. The 52 has put out a lot of great books, but it's taken a lot of the magic and wonder out of the DCU for me.

So, with the untimely demise of Demonoid, where do the rest of you go for your comic needs?
Also, if anybody has a spare invite to ComicBT, feel free to PM me.

Yeah, it was served to the US on a silver platter in what is pretty much an entirely illegal raid (as every torrent site raid is pretty much).
They DDoS:d it, hacked it and raided its physical servers.

so lately i've been playing a lot of mass effect 3's multiplayer... it's somehow gotten a lot more fun since the game launched. all the extra new classes are pretty cool. I'm sure I'm the only one that still cares about it, but yeah. the n7s are great.
