Somewhere in the ring, a masked stranger starts taking out a group of gladiators one after another. Suddenly, everyone is being trapped in bandages while
Mummy the Shaman appears behind them explaining that they have been defeated by his "invincible bandage technique". The masked man however reveals himself as
"Pyromaniac" Damask and destroys the bandages with a burst of fire.
Mummy is defeated and goes up in flames.
Somewhere else in the arena,
Rebecca and
Acilia are clashing.
Rebecca ends their fight rather quickly proving why she is called the "undefeated woman" and moves on. Meanwhile
Meadows has been defeated by the
Fighting Lion who went berserk on his ass for wearing a
tiger skin.
Nearby,
"Army Commander" Rolling Logan is taunting
Sulayman with his "war crimes" and attacks him head-on but is easily defeated by the latter without saying a word.
Scene change:
Orlumbus the Conqueror and
"White Horse" Cavendish are in the middle of a fierce battle.
Orlumbus is revealed as a veteran pirate with a bounty of 380,000,000 berry who has conquered countless islands in the past.
Cavendish comments on
Orlumbus' bad odor and attacks him with a flower-themed sword slash.
Orlumbus blocks the attack and responds:
"Your corpse is going to smell worse, rookie."
Scene changes back to the rim of the arena where the
Fighting Lion bursts up in flames and gets eaten by the fish while
Damask is targeting
Rebecca. A powerful sword slash stops
Damask and splits his helmet in two.
Sulayman: "I am your opponent, masked warrior."
Damask: "Aiming straight for my head, didn't ya..."
"Pyromaniac" Damask versus
Suleyman the Beheader.
Next we see is a roughed-up
Cavendish who managed to disarm
Orlumbus and push him off the ring with his Durandal. At this point only a handful of gladiators are still standing.
Damask shows up from nowhere and his face is shown for the first time -- it's completely covered in burn scars.
Damask says he is predetermined to eat the Mera Mera no Mi and proceeds to attack
Cavendish, when suddenly
Rebecca steps in and takes him out with a surprisingly powerful attack.
Rebecca: "Enough!"
Damask goes down and it's revealed to the reader that he won the fight with
Sulayman earlier. Cavendish comments on
Rebecca's strength and determination while they're both preparing to end the fight.
Finalists of Block D: Cavendish and
Rebecca. Still undeceided on the winner.
