Usually you'll receive a PM telling you you've been sealed and the duration of the seal, it's possible whatever staff member did the sealing just forgot to send it. If you ask a mod/smod though they'll be able to tell you why you were and for how long.

To hide your reputation you have to go to User CP-->Edit Options-->IN the Login & Privacy section uncheck show your reputation level and then save your changes.
If you don't want to be repped/negged or be able to rep/neg anyone just ask any staff member to arrange a rep seal for you or make a thread about it in the SCR.

That Edit Tag allows one to add tags to a thread, it's a feature that was made available yesterday by Mbxx. Only a few sections have this feature enabled so far. Konoha Times, Member FCs, Landfill, this section, and the Secret Cove are the ones that I am aware of.
Tags are basically useful in helping you find other threads that have the same tags. For example clicking on the kawaii tag will bring up a list of all threads tagged with kawaii. Also, we can only use the tags that the staff has made.
