Oh thanks.

Indeed great minds think alike.
I don't think it's the same situation at all. I think it was a rather insensitive thing to say from Kishimoto's part. Sasuke had just tried to murder Karin after all.
SasKar isn't happening.
A) IMO Sasuke has feelings for Sakura. It's what fits thematically, furthermore, he treats her differently than everyone else in part I and there's a few glimpses in part II as well, even amidst his crazyness. On the other hand, Sakura has been in love with Sasuke for 611 chapters, it's not going to be now, at the twilight of his redemption, that she's going to move on. So yeah, it's either SS or nothing for Sasuke (I'm the opinion him living has ledd probability than having feelings for Sakura).
B) SasKar itself is just comic relief. Notice they never had a srs business moment. The only ones they did have was at the Bee fight (notice Sasuke remembers Sakura instead and that's why he saves Taka

), and when he tries to kill her (which isn't positive). Furthermore, the way Sasuke treats Karin is very telling, he never accepts her touch like he did to Sakura eventually, in the VS Kage fight, the girl was knocked about and Sasuke didn't give a shit (notice that when it was Sakura, Kishimoto was careful enough to always make him save her / protect her).
C) Taka was the editors' idea. There's no way Kishimoto would put his precious Sasuke with someone he didn't even was inclined to make.
SS will either get something on the battlefield like Sasuke protecting Sakura after being redeemed, or they'll have something in the aftermath. The thematic hug needs to be closed, and from the progression, only the reciprocated one (meaning a lot of things too) is missing.
