Dont get me wrong, I would love nothing more than for Guts and the Skull Knight to kill the Godhand and the Idea of Evil, drive every evil supernatural being out of our reality, Casca to get her mind back, the Elf King to regrow Guts's eye and arm, Guts and Cascas child to be a real boy, and for Guts to spend the rest of his days happy and having three ways with Casca and Farnese. And of course for Puck to become the new king of Midland...

However I dont think it will go down quite like that

Im not completly given up on Guts having a happy ending though, I just know it will get darker before the dawn so to speak.

That and I don't think Miuras nihilism will allow Guts to have a happy ending, and if he does it won't be till the very end. Honestly Guts has calmed down and is so quiet (one might even dare to say peaceful) lately that you just know some bad shit is gonna go down. He values the people around him so much now, they are gonna wind up being more sacrifices. Not that inthink he's ever going to use that behlit he carries, but sacrifices to his rage and hatred. It's kinda weird, the eclipse made both he and Griffith more powerful in their own way through a sacrifice.

Anyway I'm not saying that all his new pals will die, but I see one of them on the chopping block before long.

I wonder whats gonna happen when they get there... Like if Cascas memory is restored (I doubt it will be that simple) will she continue to travel with Guts or stay behind? How will she feel about everything thats happened? Will he be able to heal Guts's eye?

I kinda have a feeling their going to get there and find the whole island destroyed. I keep thinking back to when Griffith sent his demon army after Flora because as a powerful magic user she was a threat to his plans, and then the way the Skull Knight was talking to Guts about how powerful the Elf King is...

Well Id argue just how quality the last few chapters have been... The mermaids and Sea god are ok I guess, but those pirates were just fucking terrible. I mean every manga has its less than perfect arcs, but one chapter every 3-4 months is way beyond the time it should take for him to come out with this stuff.

Such as massive wait makes the bad story arcs take forever and makes the ones we are all looking twords (Elf Island) seem years away...
