the border is pretty nice too.

Transparencies are so hard for me to work with so I'm in awe with all the things you can do with them and with the brushes. Really great stuff.
God bless the textures haha I'm using them more in my work recently. They give a nice and different feeling to sets. Try some bokeh and light textures too, those are awesome.
It's fun to work with gifs but it's a bit annoying sometimes. Having to deal with coloring and of course the size limit and all that lol

I guess we can make a certain topic for say 'gifs' or 'textures' or 'transparency' rather than to make a style similar to another member it makes me a bit uncomfortable I guess, I don't know.
I admit I don't like it when some try to make things similar to the stuff I make

The only thing I don't like is that I can't get to pick more than 3 entries in the voting which is such a shame. I did like a lot of entries this week too and wanted them all to get points XD

By Laix's style you mean combining an image and a gif together? I used to make that style when I was working in Sayaka's shop back in 2011 (you can check out some of my samples in the old thread). Frango made some amazing sets with that same style too, SNM as well was great. Too bad they both aren't as active now as they used to be.
It's not as hard as it looks like, the only hard part is the colorization because gifs tend to get those ugly pixelation if you add too many colors and stuff on top.

tbh I didn't like that idea when I read it it's fun to try different things, but we should develop our own style instead of making something similar to what others are doing >< that's what I think anyway.

I'm surprised with the amount of activity these days too, I hope I won't jinx it now
