Surely, sorry I'm just getting to this went to bed earlier last night. I guess it was my turn for connection issues lol. Well, Ishin is about a Jounin in rank. I'd say he's similar to Kabuto's early part 1 role. He's not fighting to win, but to test them for data. Since he's toying with them and not really going all out, he'd probably adapt to fighting them at their own pace. Unlike the other two( event arc bosses ) he has his own hidden agenda for being there.
In terms of actual combat, he primarily fights with genjutsu, geese, suiton, and clones. It's like an Itachi lite, being far weaker than the canon version, mostly due to a lack of Sharingan haxx. His geese replace the crows( but he uses them similarly ).
If she holds her own well enough, he'd probably retreat. I guess they have that in common too.
