I mean, okay. It's actually pretty sickening how Hashirama was sucking up to Madara, practically handing him the world on a silver platter. Basically the only way Madara could've ever been pacified would have been if everybody in the world was like Hashirama, tripping over themselves to give him praises, second chances, and gestures of good will, but that's...obviously not realistic, even by the incredibly unrealistic standards dominating this context.

So yeah, Madara is just a selfish twat. There really isn't anything else to it than that.

Haven't started Shingeki yet; was gonna wait for the anime, but I don't even remember when that's coming out.

I still think Tobirama is soft as babyshit, though of course my opinion of Madara only got worse with this latest chapter. I am also a bit disappointed with Hashirama's accommodation of his bullshit, but I am somewhat reassured by the knowledge that he eventually grows out of that phase.

Truthfully, I was actually kind of starting to sympathize with Madara (to an extent; let me make that perfectly clear). But now it appears that Hashirama did everything short of giving him head and he still wasn't satisfied; Madara comes off less as a tragic victim of circumstances than an unreasonable child who just didn't get what he wanted.

Amount of times Tobirama has been right: 4058381 and COUNTING!

Sasuke's isn't incompetent, he's insane; there's a difference. He's prosecuted his Itachi-buttfucking "revive Orochimaru and get him to Edo Tensei the dead Hokage" plan rather competently thus far.

Takigakure's higher-ups were apparently a bunch of dicks, or just hated Kakuzu greatly, because the third databook says they imprisoned him for failing to assassinate Hashirama. So not only did they give him a target that was practically impossible to take down, they also punished Kakuzu for being unable to take him down. It's hardly any surprise he went rogue and turned out the way he did.

...What.

I was thinking Sasuke was way more incompetent. Given his brilliant idea of honoring his brother is to resurrect Orochimaru and ensure nobody in the universe can stop him ever. Hidan might be a moron, but there's a level even he didn't cros.

As a sidenote, remember when we found out Kakuzu was sent to kill Hashirama? I really have to wonder who he pissed off in his village' hierarchy for that one.

Both Obito and Madara are quite a bit more competent than some others I could name, admittedly.

Why would it be a stretch? Sasuke's a power house on his own accord and everyone can't shut up for a period how his potential exceeds Itachi's. Sasuke's grown significantly since their last battle and without Sasuke, the fight with Kabuto would have ended with Kabuto getting his toy back. Possibly two, if he can force an ET to undo their own seals and release a prime edo Nagato, who's the strongest thing around until you get to Madara territory. So I wouldn't sell sasuke that short.

Just recently. Somebody introduced me to Ladd Russo and it was love at first sight.

Problem is, the Juubi can't do that without killing Obito and Madara as well (granted, one of them would regenerate).Even without the 'nuke,' the Juubi's a force to be reckoned with. Enormously so.

Madara's not so godly that other high tiers assisting Hashirama would make no difference, and Tobirama's apparently quite high tier given he could down an MS user reputed to be close to the level of his brother without any real visible injuries himself.
