I have come to a startling conclusion that, I believe, is more than just mere coincidence... now, bear with me here... but I truly believe that Kishimoto is trying to TAINT us (so guard your taints wisely) by using subliminal messages in his characters linking to psychopaths and serial killers... I present to you...
The Case Of The Crazy-Eyed Bastards.
EXHIBIT A: THE HAIR
It's always the hair. The long, just slightly unkempt hair that attracts masses of adoring fans. So prim and proper in a certain way but also, just that hint of asymmetry. It is evil incarnate. Just look at the way it shines, clearly taken with the utmost care of only the most expensive of shampoos and the most gentle caress of hairbrushes. This could only be the work of the Devil himself.
EXHIBIT B: THE MARK
Everyone knows of both of these marks. Both have been used as a sign of loyalty in different methods but on two equal scumbags, it's all the same.
EXHIBIT C: THOSE CRAZY FUCKING EYES
...I think this one speaks for itself...
EXHIBIT D: THE FANATICAL FANGIRLS
These mindless parasites will do anything to please their masters, bending to their every will imaginable, even the most degrading or self-damning of activities. They have no thoughts of their own, only never-ending, subservient praise to their cultist leaders. Most of them are also female... with a few homosexual males. Watch out for these people, as they are usually crazier and more violent than those they follow, especially if you make even the slightest negative comment about their precious leader.
I rest my case...
(Just as a note, I really don't think Charlie is that bad a guy ... the jury is still out on Neji...)
