I would like to mention some notable cards that could/should be banned, limited, unbanned, semi'd, and unlimited'd.

Lets start out with top decks:

Elemental Dragon Suppressor Rulers :

We could all agree that Elemental Dragon Suppressor Rulers is a dumb deck that never should have existed. Why you ask? Because it has insane speed, draw power, and search power that it is just not fun to play against (Also because I'm salty).

1). Super Rejuvenation:


You mean to tell me you can have 3 of these cards and quick play them during your end phase?

During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, draw 1 card from your Deck for each Dragon-Type monster discarded from your hand and/or Tributed during this turn.
Konami either didn't think it through or they're just plainly trolling players. Dragons discard themselves and others to special summon, search, and destroy targets. By of a decent turn with a decent hand, they'll have gained 1-2 strong monsters on the field, Dragons in grave, and have not lost any hand advantage. Worse of all is that this card is a quickplay, which means that when the player draws another Super Rejuv, they can chain it to draw more during the end phase. It is quite broken. This card alone makes Dragons too fast.

Opinions: Ban it please, for goodness sake.



2). Number 11: Big Eye:


Hey, you know that Black Luster Soldier - EOTB on your side of the field? Well its mine now. Bitch.

2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster your opponent controls; take control of that monster. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
As much as I love to use this card (yes, I use this card too), it is just too good. It is a Generic Rank 7, Dark, Spellcaster, 2600 attack, and plus it is a Change of Heart on legs (It is a floating 2600 attack Change of Heart). Elemenetal Suppressor Dragon Rulers use 2-3 of these. Do I have to explain anymore?

Opinions: At least Limit it.



Other notable things to maybe think of is ... Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack



Moving on to Prophecies:

Prophecies are the next tier deck on the list of tiered decks. The deck was originally alright, but now it is broken thanks to a certain card ...

1). Spellbook of Judgment:


I don't always get + 6, but when I do, I know it's Konami's fault

During the End Phase of the turn this card was activated, add "Spellbook" Spell Cards from your Deck to your hand, except "Spellbook of Judgment", up to the number of Spell Cards activated after this card's resolution, then, you can Special Summon from your Deck 1 Spellcaster-Type monster whose Level is less than or equal to the number of cards added to your hand by this effect. You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Judgment" per turn.
How could I explain this card in the simpliest way possible? Dahhh ... use cards to get cards and draw cards. Dumb cards are dumb. Nuff said. Oh yeah did I mention it special summons a Spellcaster - Type monster also?

Opinions: Limit it, but don't ban it. Banning it will kill the deck.


2). Spellbook of Secrets:


Normally I would say books are good, but in this case it is really bad

Add 1 "Spellbook" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Spellbook of Secrets". You can only activate 1 "Spellbook of Secrets" per turn.
Searchers, they're never good. Especially since you could run 3 of them in your deck and can search out another searcher to search for another card. Rota is at 1, E-Hero Stratos is at 1, why shouldn't this card be at 1?

Opinion: Limit it at 1, Spellbook Magician of Prophecy can still search for it.

Other notable cards include ... Spellbook Tower of Prophecy and Spellbook of Fate.



Mermails:

I personally think that people are dumb to say hit Megalo. Megalo isn't the problem, it is the cards that it sends to grave.

1). Atlantean Dragoons:


Still don't understand how these mongruels defeated the Mermails ... but hey it's Konami ...

All Level 3 or lower Sea Serpent-Type monsters you control can attack your opponent directly. When this card is sent to the Graveyard to activate a WATER monster's effect: Add 1 Sea Serpent-Type monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Atlantean Dragoons".
Like I said before, easily accessed searchers at 3 is never good. Especially since this card can be searched by a multitude of cards and can activate its effect even if it was a XYZ material (I'm looking at you, Abyss Dweller).

Opinions: Semi Limit it or Limit it. No need for it to be banned.

Another card that needs to be mentioned is Altantean Marksman. Will continue later.

Opinions everyone? Please tell me what y'all think should or should not be on the banlist.

Yeah, imo Big Eye should probably be limited to one. And/or banned in certain decks that can easily summon it (can't think of one right now for some reason).

Also, that Super Rejuv. looks like it'd make a deck like Hieratics a pain to deal with.

Eh, can't disagree with anything here, and I wouldn't at all mind Dragoons being semi-limited.

Pretty thoughtful and reasonable list all the way.

I actually beat edrags for the first time today, but only because my opponent got a really bad hand.

Although I am running Big Eye in my Gadget/Shockmaster deck, and it saved me once. It was a ridiculous comeback.

Opponent was playing Crystal Beasts, he summoned Hamon lord of striking thunder. He had 7000 lp, after my turn I had 200 lp.

I summon one gadget, use its eff to add one to my hand, discard the gadget and 1 Machina Fortress to SS another Machina Fortress, now I have 5 monsters in my grave so I play pot of Avarice, I draw 1 gadget and 1 Machina Gearframe, discard them to SS Machina Fortress from the grave, overlay the 2 fortresses to form Big Eye, grab Hamon, attack with it and the gadget, then next turn he gives up.

@Brohan: They can get like a plus 9 if they tried hard enough, the difficult part is to discard cards during the end phase.

@Phx: Super Rejuv is pretty busted.

@Santi: I tried. :3

@ Mike and Flutter: Yes Big Eye is pretty broken.

3x Machina Fortresses is the one thing I miss from my Divine Beast gadget deck compared to Blue Eyes deck (maiden, silver/azure eyes etc.)


I like Divine more, but Blue Eyes seem overall stronger .. but they don't have easy lvl 7s to XYZ into Big Eye or Dracossack ..

Ban spellbook of Judgement completely, don't touch secrets. Seriously, I'd rather see clever plays made with secrets than the retarded shit that Judgement is.

Big Eye to 1, Super Rejuv banned completely,

I feel like Limiting Ophion will just kill the deck which is currently trying its best to combat Dragons and Prophecies.

prophesies and dragons are getting hit too

Orphion just auto rolls a load of other decks. It should be semi limited at least.

I feel like Ophion is a threat, but they're allowed to have 3 Evilswarm Big Eyes(Bahumut).
