I've scaled them all before for the most part.

Just touching them up a bit.

Doesn't harm how any of the feats are classified.

I just wanted these touched up.

Let's begin anyway.

First I need the size of the Kage Mountain Faces (Both with tsunade and without)

How will I begin?

I looked through the chapter this panel appeared in, we could scale Minato's face 3 ways, but I'm using this one given it and one other scaling mesh up more or less.

Using this one however requires one less scan.

Minato = 23 pixels

Minato Face Width = 344 pixels

Minato Face Width/Minato = 14.96

Minato = 1.792 meters

Minato Face Width = 26.81 meters

Why this one? It's from during the Pain fight, the perspective isn't fucked up and I can get both The full size and the size without Tsunade.

All in one scan.

Kage Mountain Faces (All)= 172 pixels

Kage Mountain Faces (Minus Tsunade) = 131 pixels

Minato Face Width = 36 pixels

Kage Mountain Faces (All)/Minato Face width = 4.78

Kage Mountain Faces (Minus Tsunade)/Minato Face Width = 3.64

Kage Mountain Faces (All) = 128.15 meters

Kage Mountain Faces (Miuns Tsunade) = 97.59 meters


Honestly? The faces themselves are drawn consistently enough where the actual proportions here should be just fine. The actual size for the total face width flucuates somewhat, but this scaling is roughly consistent with other panels I've seen.

Now... Just rescaling Konoha off the Kage Faces.

Konoha Radius = 441 pixels

Kage Mountain Faces (Minus Tsunade) = 17 pixels

Konoha Radius/Kage Mountain Faces (Minus Tsunade) = 25.94

Konoha Radius = 2,531.48 meters

Konoha Diameter = 5,062.96 meters

Didn't change much from the other scaling.

It's pretty damn concrete Konoha is about 5 km across.

Now I'll get a crater depth.


The crater wasn't any deeper than the mountain the kage faces were on. I found a few scans I could use to scale, but this one was the easiest to use. Size is consistent with other scans I found however.

Crater Depth = 183 pixels

Crater Depth/Kage Mountain Faces = 1.38

Crater Depth = 176.85 meters

The crater isn't going to be any deeper than 250 meters, nor will it be any more shallow than 150 meters unless you're really digging for those smaller scans.

Now I can start working on CT and finish off CST.

After all, the attack didn't completely crater all of Konoha. It left a ring of debris around the gates. I left out finding that last time due to laziness.

Kage Mountain Faces = 19 pixels

Road = 1 pixels

Konoha Debris = 16 pixels

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 1 = 201 pixels

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 2 = 236 pixels

Road/Kage Mountain Faces = 0.0526

Konoha Debris/Kage Mountain Faces = 0.842

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 1/Kage Mountain Faces = 10.58

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 2/Kage Mountain Faces = 12.42

Road = 6.74 meters

Konoha Debris = 107.90 meters

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 1 = 1,355.83 meters

Bijuu Bomb Diameter 2 = 1,591.62 meters


I threw in the Bijuu Bomb because I might as well if I'm using the scan.

Now for CST volume

First I need Konoha Crater's Diameter

Konoha Crater Diameter = 5,062.96 - (2)(107.90) = 4,847.16 meters

Volume = 0.6PIr^2*H

Konoha Crater Volume = 1,958,037,058 m^3

City level+, same as before, only slightly smaller.

Doesn't make it any less deadly to those it was able to kill before.

Finally, I'll scale CT Crater.

Chibaku Tensei Ball = 288 pixels

Road = 2 pixels

Chibaki Tensei Crater/Road = 279.5

Chibaku Tensei Ball/Road = 144

Chibaku Tensei Crater = 1,883.83 meters

Chibaku Tensei Ball = 970.56 meters

That's mach 5.492 assuming the speed of sound is 343 m/s.

Next the Rasenshuriken

Ok... why did I want a rock size and height in the air?

Kinetic energy needed to send it up that high.

Sure, the AOE is worth shit due to the dust and lack of actually knowing what the fuck it did, but knowing how much energy was imparted onto 1 rock would be useful to illustrate how much power this thing had at a minimum.

Rock Volume = 54,709.3 m^3

I pretended it was spherical because I'm a lazy son of a bitch.

Continental crust is about... 2,700 kg/m^3

Rock Weight = 147,715,110 kg

Cool. Missing the velocity part of my kinetic energy formula.

1 second passed during the rasenshuriken's flight across the crater.

As a low end, I'll just assume the 320.25 meters was travled in 1 second.

Now for the formula.

KE = 0.5mv^2

Kinetic Energy of Rock = 7.581 * 10^12 joules or 1.812 kilotons of energy

I think it's probably pretty obvious that this rasenshuriken hit multi-block level.

Final Tally (CST)

Crater Depth = 176.85 meters

Konoha Radius = 2,531.48 meters

Konoha Diameter = 5,062.96 meters

yes with the former CT scaling I did.

no, because I rescaled a few variables I used from waka out of laziness.

Honestly? Pegging the CT rasenshuriken feat with any actual speed is a bitch. Just call it hypersonic, probably between mach 5 and 6 depending on how the variables I rescaled are scaled in the future.

Not bad, but I do have one question though. How in the hell did you get the road to be 4 pixels wide?

Actually, alot of what im pixel scailing isn't even close to what your getting.

CT crater: 663px

CT road: 2px

CT ball: 344px

The ratio's are off by alot.

EDIT: And the CST depth cant be right, its a double layered crater, in that panel we only see one.

Scan Size must be a factor.

As I said though.

Just call the feat Hypersonic. Mach 5-7 is pretty much what you're going to end up with.

After all, the thing I'm using as a measuring stick is small as hell.

The layer is sloping down from the mountain.

You may only see one layer, however you should still note we see the debris/fence.

The mountain may be in the inner crater, but it slopes down a good bit from there.

Remember when we see Bee's team on top of the fence though?

The Mountain is a good bit above the crater's edge.

Hokage mountain is within the radius of the inner crater, but in you're calc its part of the cliff you scailed.

By distorted I mean it has the same problem as the CT image I just pointed out. that the ratios are not what you calced the, at, atleast in the pics you posted anyway.

yes please, because from what I see, it does slop down off the side, but its still connected to the left of Hokage mountain.

Not to mention it would need to be nearly two kilometers farther back than Hokage mountain.

Made the fixes.

Boxed the outline of the sloping inner crater.

As for being 2 km away?

Shouldn't matter given we have this scan.

The crater height isn't going to be any, if at all, taller than the value I got.

I believe the issue you two are having has to do with imageshack re-sizing the images compared to the original sizes you got in whatever program you use. I noticed it happening to me a month or so back.

@Waka - Yup. The rock had that much energy imparted unto it. The rasenshuriken had an unknown amount more behind it.
